Would any-one know where in Vietnam I can buy card making supplied?
I am after rubber stamps, ink pads, paper and the like. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best Regards, Ellen
When in Vietnam last Spring, I found a few rubber stamps in Ho Chi Mien City. We were in the area where there were many small shops and a block or so away there were many coutier stores - such as Cartier - places that were fun to look in their windows but my pocket book would have started severe spasms if I started to enter the door. Not too far from the boat ramp for tour boats.
It was on the middle of a block of local shops. The Lemon Grass (must eat there if you have an opportunity - fabulous food) and a Gloria Jean coffee house close by.
When we were there there was a young man on the street corner by Gloria Jeans selling cut outs for cards - similar to Some Art Required.
The shop was on the left side of the street in the middle of a block. The stamps were very small and had old fashioned individual handles.
Only place I found a few papers was in Hoi Ahn. Would love to talk to you about your adventures there.
Hope this helps. Have a good day.
