Have you purchased the Nightmare Before Christmas Sterling Silver Ring Set?
Bought this set from Ebay a few years back, the set is very rare as far as I know, (simply meant to be engraved on the outside of the ring, and 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' engraved on the inside, and the set appears to be genuine. The rings are stamped 925
Unfortunately, when trying to have them resized - the jeweller said they were not Silver, and had tested them. The jeweller had phoned two days ago, to say that the rings had a clear lacquer on them. He has said that he has not cut the rings, and that there is no mark on them from the test.
Does anyone have a set of these rings? Have you had them tested/resized and discovered that they were fake? We felt that it would be unlikely for Disney to sell something as 'Sterling Silver' and for them to be anything but that.....
