Has anyone else had this problem? how do you get the little bits fo paper off the sticky page...? Does anyone else know any tips or tricks or good uses for this machine? I wanted it so bad and now I am feeling a little dissapointed!

Thanks Deb, yea I have the tools, maybe I am not using them correctly!
You will LOVE the Cricut, it just takes some patience and playing around to figure it out. If your paper is ripping it's not because the sheet is too sticky it's because there's too much pressure when it's cutting. I still have trouble with scrapbook paper but it's great on cardstock (which I mainly use anyway for the cut-outs). Read the manual to see how you adjust the pressure and just do lots of practice on scrap papers 'til you get the hang of it. As far as getting the pieces off the sticky mat, the best thing to do is get the little spatula they sell to do this. Everything comes off really easily with that. If you get the Cricut Software that goes with it you get even more endless possibilities with what you can create. Wal-Mart has it the cheapest, $64.97 I think. It's $99.00 in Michael's! Good luck and have fun!
