What is recorded - uses powder or stickers?
My stepmother had a stamping machine. As far as I pointed out that, is to take a joint or something, and press the seal relief pad, sprinkle embossing powder, then use the printer to warm dust. I was looking for one of those, but I found something that makes no mention of powder and what look like stickers. This is so I was very confused: http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog/productdetail.jsp?pageName=search&flag=true&PRODID=zprd_10070407a I want to know if this machine powder is heated? Or if I'm looking for is called a stamping machine, can anyone point me in the right direction? I would like get to make cards, scrapbooking, crafts, etc. Thank you!
There are two types of embossing. Wet etching: an image of the stamp ink and powder embossing, then heat to melt the powder. Dry Embossing: you can do with a bronze plaque with a picture cut out of it and uses a stress designer image paper script. Or use a folder (usually plastic) and put the paper in it and it passes through a cutting machine. Sizzix has a small relief that just does not cut dies. It is the site you posted. This machine has nothing to do with embossing powder or stickers as you a heat gun, I have been scrapbooking and card making for years. I've never head of a "machine" Heat the embossing powder.
