10 pts. What can I do (to make visual art, etc.) with my memories?
I was popping a bag of popcorn with pour over butter just now, and I realized, I was about to cry. I remember when I was younger (Im now 14), my little brother and I ALWAYS would pop this particular kind of popcorn and watch a classic 90s baseball movies at the house we've always lived at. We've moved since then, things have changed, memories are beginning to fade, even though I am still really young. My point here is that I want to do something with all of these memories.. For example: typing a list of things I remember (like a poem) and printing it, and put it up on my bedroom wall. I'd really like to see what creative things you guys can think of. Thank you so much by the way.:)
I love both of the ideas your earlier posters offered. I think photo collages are great. Go back to your old house or go through your mom's pictures and pick out a couple that really evoke the feeling you enjoyed there. Then make sure you've got pictures of this house, too. Cause there will come a day when it's filled with memories. While you're rifling through your mom's picture think about the ones that really touch you. If they're the same ones she likes be sure to make a copy for yourself.
You can place all the pictures on a board the size you want to frame, rearrange them to suit you and what you're expressing about your memories. Include text if you'd like to add your expression. Then go to a hobby store and look at frames and mat boards. Select what suits you. You could take in your mock up and the people who work in that department may offer some great suggestion on how to achieve what you're going for. Buy and take home the mat board, compose the collage and then take it back to be framed. You may not keep it hung in your room forever, but I promise you'll treasure it forever.
